passed away at his home
September 24, 2020 with his
wife Linda and his hospice
nurse by his side. His
mesothelioma had taken it’s
toll. He leaves behind four
children Jim Eisley, Susan
Flohr, Bill Eisley and Earleen
Freeman two stepsons Jeffrey
De jersey and Jay De jersey 11
grandchildren and 7 great
grandchildren.
As one of the owners of Eisley
nursery in Auburn he spent 68
years growing vegetables and
flowers for the community to
enjoy. He remembered at age
4 he was given a hammer and
nails so he could build boxes
that were used in the nursery.
His love for the Nursery was
handed down to his own
children and two grandchildren
who still work there.
When he wasn’t working he
enjoyed hunting, fishing,
backpacking, canoeing and
camping with his wife and
family.
Family was important to him
and he leaves behind one
brother Harvey Eisley and one
cousin Garland Shinn.
Because of COVID-19 services
will be held graveside at the
New Auburn cemetery on
Collins Drive. The Masons of
Eureka lodge 16 represented
by Eric Chilton along with
Earle‘s cousin Rev. Shinn will
officiate.
In lieu of flowers donations can
be made to Sutter Auburn Faith
hospice or to Ducks Unlimited.
We will miss his ready smile
and his ability to joke with
people.
