Edna Alicia Harrison

Edna passed away at the age of 87 from complications of a stroke.

Edna was born in Oakland, CA to Claudio and Guadalupe Martinez. After marriage, she resided in the bay area for several years. She remarried in 1975 to Milt Harrison, and they enjoyed their life together in Auburn, CA for 39 years. Shortly after their move to Folsom, CA in 2014, Milt passed away.

Edna had a passion for music and singing. Throughout her life, she sang in various local groups which included nearly 39 years with her church choir. After retiring from her medical receptionist position, she was an active volunteer for 10 years in the ICU of Auburn Faith Community Hospital where she strived to lift the spirits of patients and their family and friends.

Edna’s greatest love was her family. She will be deeply missed by her children, David and Cherelyn (Anthony); step-children, Linda (Steve), Joanne (Pete); grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her many friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life for Edna on Saturday, November 19, 2016, 1:00 p.m., at the Chapel of the Hills in Auburn, CA.
