

Elizabeth is survived by her mother Loretta Davis of Applegate, CA; husband Timothy Stofleth of Auburn, CA; daughter Lisa Fuller (husband Jesse); daughter Carol Stofleth, grandsons Alan Dalton, Kiran Fuller, Zaeron Fuller, and Shaun Hocking of Auburn, CA; granddaughter Hailey Hocking of Auburn, CA; brother Danny Dalton (wife Kinda) of Oak Harbor, WA; sister Vikki Dalton of Applegate , CA; sister Kathy Dalton of Applegate, CA; brother Floyd Dalton (wife Stephanie) of Applegate, CA; brother Chris Williams (wife Misha) of Arlington, TX, brother-in-law Tom Stofleth of Clipper Gap, CA; sister-in-law Tammy Benge of Yuba City, CA; sister-in-law Tonya Gattuccio (husband Frank) of Menifee, CA, brother-in-law Randy Fabian of Polson, MT; nephews Michael Peterson, Robert Johnson, Jeremy Johnson (wife Shaina Johnson), Zak Kangas (wife Demi), Dakota Dalton, Dalton Williams, Matthew Stofleth, Robert Stofleth, Tommy Benge, Reno Fabian, Brett Stofleth (wife Amber), Kevin Stofleth; nieces Lisa Dalton, Linda Dalton, Theresa Dalton, Kristen Smith, Shannon Novander, Sarah Dalton, Cheyenne Dalton, Melissa Jamieson (husband Darell), Miranda Williams, Nicole Cash, Kindra Stofleth, Kayla Stofleth, Gabby Soliz (husband Josh), Alisha Benge, Holly Ontiveros (husband Eric), Lynzi Stofleth, Whitney Stofleth; and many more family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father Floyd Dalton of Clipper Gap, CA; mother-in-law Vona Stofleth of Auburn, CA; and father-in-law William Stofleth of Marysville, CA.
Elizabeth was born on January 30, 1955 in Glendale, CA to Floyd Dalton and Loretta Davis. She graduated from Placer High School in 1974 and Sierra College in 1999 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She married Rey Rubio and they had two daughters, Lisa in 1975 and Carol in 1977. They divorced in 1979. She married Timothy Stofleth, her longtime neighbor and partner for life in 1985. She began working for KidZKount as a Teacher’s Aide in 1980 and worked many positions within the agency before retiring as a Human Resources Coordinator in 2015. Her children remember her as a strong, loving, caring, kind, courageous, driven mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals and was always there to catch them when they fell.
Elizabeth was amazing at working with children and families. She also enjoyed doing anything outdoors, crafting, and being with family. She was a generous, dedicated individual who loved people and who was passionate about helping others to be successful. She was an active and dedicated volunteer for the Nevada County Food & Toy Run for the past 24 years and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for the past 3 years. She was also very active in her grandchildren’s sports and rarely missed a game.
A funeral is scheduled for 11:00am at New Auburn District Cemetery (1040 Collins Drive, Auburn, CA 95603), with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1:00pm at Parkside Church of the Nazarene (3885 Richardson Drive, Auburn, CA 95602). Chris Williams will officiate the eulogy with friends and family also speaking at the graveside service. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Elizabeth’s life. We are having a potluck lunch so please feel free to bring any dish you would like (main dish, side dish, appetizers, etc.). Beverages will be provided.
