Greg proudly served his country in the United States Army, including a tour in Vietnam as a lab technician. In the years following his service, he faced health challenges believed to be connected to his exposure to Agent Orange and other chemicals during that time—an experience that left a lasting impact on both him and his family.
A true entrepreneur at heart, Greg built and ran several small businesses over the years. He had a strong work ethic, an independent spirit, and a willingness to take risks in pursuit of building something of his own. Beyond his work, he enjoyed traveling and experiencing new places, always appreciating the freedom to explore and live life on his own terms.
Greg is survived by his loving wife, Sandy; his son, David; his six grandchildren; and his eight siblings. He was also a cherished part of Sandy’s extended family, embracing her three children and six grandchildren as his own, and holding a meaningful place in their lives. He is further survived by his dear friend since high school, Leon, and Leon’s wife, Ellen.
He will be remembered for his resilience, his drive, and the life he built through both challenges and accomplishments. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
