Janet Rae Mansuetti

Janet married the love of her life Leland E. Mansuetti on May 19, 1953 and settled in the Auburn Area in 1955. Janet and Leland celebrated all the years of love on March 12, 2023 with family and friends. Janet had 3 children, Son Leland A Mansuetti, daughter Selma Rae (Edward) Vaca and daughter Sydne Lynn (Stephen Dec’d) Feuz, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Janet stayed at home and raised her children until they were in school. Janet then went out to explore the world , first as a clerk at Alpine Market and later as a clerk at the Sierra College bookstore. Janet also attended a couple of college classes taught by her husband Leland. Janet enjoyed cruising the high seas and seeing the world with Leland, family and friends. She enjoyed ocean sport fishing with her husband and son, she also enjoyed crafting baby jar Christmas trees that brightened her families and friend’s holidays. Janet knitted every new baby of the family a special blanket to welcome their arrival. She made and enjoyed many friendships throughout her life, and many years she and Leland lived, worked and played in the Auburn Area. Janet will be very loved and extremely missed by her husband, family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
