Joe passed away peacefully at his
home on Monday, April 21, 2014.
Joe worked 35 years for the U.S
Geological Survey, the early years
of his career were spent in the
field, and the final 15 years he worked
in the Menlo Park office. Joe retired
to the Meadow Vista area where
he and his family built their house.
During his retirement years, Joe
enjoyed fishing, traveling, and
golfing. Joe spent the last 5 years
in an assisted living home where
he enjoyed the companionship of
his new found friends. Joe will
join Mary, his loving wife of 57 years, in
heaven. He is survived by his 6 children
Cindy, Joe (Sharon), Donna (Patrick),
Richard (Karen), Roger, and Dan (Carole).
He is also survived by 11 grandchildren,
Joe (Tove), Wade, Tom, Julie, Alex, Kelly,
Megan, Lucas, Shannon, Kevin, and
Emily. He also has 2 great grandchildren,
Karly and Sarah. A memorial service
to celebrate Joe's life will be
held at the "The Ridge" golf course
in Auburn on July 6th at 11:00 AM.
