Laurie and I met in the 7th grade, walking into Earth Science we bumped into each other and became forever friends. Laurie practically lived at my house from 7th grade until she moved to Nebraska our senior year. We rode horses almost every day, spent weeks at Ocean City MD in the summer with my family, running down the boardwalk in the morning and laying on the big rocks at the inlet while the sea spray mixed with out sweat. We were both shy in high school and we stuck together like glue. I don’t have a biological sister, Laurie was my sister. Neither of us ever really recovered from being separated. 
Laurie was the sweetest person I have ever met, she was pure gold.  She adored Sam and her boys. She told me she was afraid Sam would pass before her and she would be completely lost without him. I am happy Laurie never had to endure life without her love of her life, Sam. Her boys were Laurie’s pride and joy. I hope they all take comfort in knowing how much she loved them and how much joy their love brought to her.
She loved her animals.
I don’t know how I ever got so lucky to have her walk into my life and continue to love me the way that she did.  I will miss her forever.


Laurie was my sweet sister in love. She married my brother and gave us 3 wonderful nephews. I loved her and will miss her so much.  Till we meet again sweetie you tell everyone I will see them soon.
