Marian Elsie Pretti

Marian Davison Pretti passed away on October 8, 2014. She was raised in Oakland, California, and resided in Castro Valley where she raised her family. She was a devoted mother who supported her children's passions spending hours watching at the ball fields, swimming pools and horseshows. She enjoyed yearly trips to Yosemite, square dancing, and traveling. She and her husband moved to Auburn ten years ago where she became active in volunteer work and she and her husband, Rudy, had great times with their car clubs and Elks Club. Marian is survived by: her husband Rudy Pretti, son Bob Smith of Bend, Oregon, daughters Nancie Gratton of Auburn, Calif., and Bonnie Hollitz of Lincoln, Calif. She was also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. No services will be held. Marian's love of Yosemite leads to her preference of donations to the Yosemite Conservancy (101 Montgomery Street, Suite 1700, San Francisco, CA 94104) in honor of her memory.
