My deepest sympathy to all of Marion's family during this difficult time. I sincerely share your sorrow after being friends (& related) to Marion for over 58 years. We had so many good times together over the years - especially in our younger days. We have kept in close contact for all these years & I certainly now miss her friendship, our frequent contacts & exchanges, her concern, sensitivity, support, sense of humor, hearty laugh & being kept up on family activities. She was always so proud of her family! A picture I took of her in the 1970's beside our neighbor's swimming pool is a favorite, where she's leaning back with both legs up in the air & a big smile on her face. I can almost hear her hearty laugh when looking at that picture. It illustrates her love of a good time & "kicking up her heels". Thanks to her, Gib & family for all the good times & great memories.

Love, (Gib's Cousin)

I joined Soroptimist in 1996 and served on the 'Soroptimist Orientation & Leadership Training' committee with Marion as chair. She instilled in me the joy of service through this organization and served as an inspiring mentor.
Thank you, Marion for your lessons of love and service; you will always hold a special place in my heart.

I have fond memories of a call from Marion when I was a young Soroptimist and new District Director. I am sorry I was not around when she was Governor.

Will always remember the "Tell it on the Grapevine" with members of her club to vote for Marian for Governor. You were a great SNR Governor.

Dear Gib: I emailed this message from 2nd cousin, Astrid, in Denmark, to Liz but thought it would be good to have it included here. Ramona
She said: "Dear Gib: I feel sorry for you, & now is my hope for you that all the wonderful memories of what you and your dear Marion have had together might comfort you. I send you my greetings and I assure you my best sympathy. Love from Astrid"
