Marjorie Louise Ritacca

Marjorie Elwood Ritacca passed on to eternal rest December 25 in Auburn after a 2 year battle with lung cancer. She was born in Auburn on April 27, 1931 to Gladys and John Timmons. She lived her entire life in Placer County and worked at the Assessor’s Office.

Marge is survived by her children Christine Bunnell, Victor Elwood (Lila) and Marie Woodford, grandchildren: Melissa Stai, Tommy Bunnell, Brenda Rodriguez, Ami Barker, Michele Woodford, Kyle Reid and 13 great-grandchildren. Also siblings John Timmons and Roberta Straser and companion Pat Shanley. She was preceded in death by husband Tony Ritacca, grandson Tracy Bunnell, and sisters Arline Arellano and Lenore Hood.

Marge’s big heart and love for others, especially Jesus, was demonstrated by her activities in church and numerous community groups, and anything involving children. Anyone who met her became “dear”, and she never forgot a birthday. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.

Services will be December 31, at 9 am at Chapel of the Hills, Auburn. Arrangements under the direction of Chapel of the Hills, Auburn, CA.
