Mary Ann Coleman passed on Friday evening, September 10, 2021 at the age of 96. John, her husband, was there by her side at their Loomis home as she peacefully passed. Mary Ann was born December 9, 1924, in Saint Louis, Missouri. In her younger years after she attended college, she traveled and worked in many states where she met her first husband, Suey Quong. She then quit her state job to help run their egg farm for 30 years. She retired in the eighties.
Mary Ann attended local clubs like the Loomis Historical Society. Her hobbies included gardening, scrapbooking, and sewing. She loved her German shepherd, Rin-Tin. In later years she met her second husband, John Coleman. They enjoyed going to restaurants, on shopping outings, and sightseeing. Her happy place was outside surrounded by nature.
Mary Ann is survived by her beloved husband, John Coleman, of almost 17 years; sister-in-law Tina Sims (Michael) of Lincoln; Chuck Coleman (Rosemary) of Santa Clara; and her nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome to attend the graveside service at the Newcastle Gold Hill Cemetery at 850 Taylor Rd., Newcastle, CA 95658 on September 28th at 10am.
