I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Meggie at a couple of clinics, and liked her so well I had her do a clinic at my home.  Her passion for horses and helping others with them was contagious, and she was one of the most engaging clinicians I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.   She will be sorely missed, my prayers go to all who knew and loved her.  

Meggie, along with Steve and Liam (then just a small baby), were such a blessing to our 4-H horse club  in western PA when they came to our farm for a Parelli Natural Horsemanship Clinic in November 2017.  With baby Liam securely strapped in a front baby pack, Meggie's kind and patient instruction had such an amazing impact on our kids in their horsemanship journey.  We are all grieving at the untimely passing of such a gifted teacher and wonderful wife and mother.  With prayers for God's grace, comfort and hope for Steve, Liam and the extended family.

There are no words to describe the loss of Meggie. We will miss her enthusiasm, zest for life, family and friends. Her smile would light up a room, or clinic. She loved being a teacher, and those of us who had the opportunity to learn horsemanship from her, were the lucky ones! 

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Steve and Liam. Meggie will be in your hearts forever, and her presence will be all around you!

I met Meggie a few years ago at a Parelli learning clinic in Durand.  She was so knowledgeable and amazing with Horses.   She taught my young daughters many things to  help them bond with their horses.  She was an inspiration to the horse world.  I know I have one of the best Horses ever -Sarge!  She taught him so much which has now passed down to my teenage daughter who is growing with him. I will give Sarge a huge hug for you! Little did you know but you enriched our lives by working with him so much! We are forever grateful 🐴❤️🐴

Our family shares in holding you and your family up in prayer and in spirit during this difficult time. Meggie was a beautiful soul and had a gentle, kind spirit and such a passion for life that she shared with so many through her wonderful in-home classes on essential oils to her horsemanship clinics to her herbal and organic farm life. It was a joy to visit there and learn from her the benefits of essential oils during class with her. Liam even helped share the fine smells during class! I looked forward to learning more from her in the time to come. Perhaps her spirit will guide me (us) in our individual joys and interests. 
We loved Meggie and so love Steve and Liam and the Andrews families. May God grant her soul eternal peace. Know that our hands and hearts are open to your needs. We pray that God will bring you comfort and healing and HOPE in the days ahead!

I met Meggie and her friend Kristy Layman -Doyle when they were riding their horses at Eastgate Park near her home. She was still in high school. That meeting led to dozens of rides together.  This was taken on a very beautiful winter day in Scott Woods Park, (Lansing) before it was renovated.  Kristy and Meggie are bringing up the rear, crossing a flooded  area of Sycamore Creek. We all had such a great time that day.

Our hearts are saddened as we send loving thoughts and prayers to Meggie’s family. It was a blessing to have known her during her high school years as a swimmer I was proud to coach! 

Many condolences to Steve and his family during this unspeakably difficult time. I have been in Parelli for over 15 years and have learned immensely from Steve's lessons at The Ranch Outback and Meggie's assistance during the Carol Coppinger clinics. Nothing may eradicate their joint presence in knowledge and professionalism. Sending thoughts for comfort and peace. 

I met Meggie through her family once & she made me feel like family through her essential oil life inviting me into her home multiple times to teach how to have/live a better life! She had a way of impacting others for the better!  So sorry for  your unexpected loss, prayers, hugs & love, as Meggie always gave!

My deepest condolences to all of those who have had the sincere joy of knowing Meggie, but especially to her family, husband, and dear son. 

        I have known Meggie since I was a child, she was my sister's best friend growing up. Even when they were in college I would sometimes tag along for a Biggby coffee date with them. She even babysat my brother and myself when I was really young (bless her patient soul). 

           I always looked up to her as she led her own path in life, going against traditional standards of living. She was an inspiration to me, someone to really look up to as she pursued her passions in horse training,  then starting a sustainable farm. I lived for her Instagram posts every week seeing Liam help her around the farm. I wish I could have told her how much I looked up to her. 

She will forever be missed and never forgotten.

I had the great privilege to meet Meggie through natural horse clinics and private lessons. Meggie is one of the best teachers I’ve ever met. She quietly observed all the big and small details and then gracefully chose the essential thing that I needed to focus on to be a better human for my horse.

My husband and Steve were deployed together back in 2010. I got to know Meggie at one of the yellow ribbon events...the first military spouse friend. I've often thought that 3 things got me through the deployment: my pregnancy, my MIL...and Meggie. She was the one person I felt knew exactly what I was going through...she was such an incredible woman. Completely selfless. Man, I miss her so much already...

So sad to hear this.  Several years ago, she assisted in a Carol Coppinger clinic I participated in Ohio.  She had a lot to give to the world.  So sorry that she did not get that opportunity.  As a person who lost her mother at a young age, not as young as Liam, she will live on in you, Liam, and her influence will help you do amazing things.


Meggie’s gentle spirit was felt by so many.   Meggie’s smile was so soothing and kind.   May her legacy and beautiful memories live in your hearts forever. Stevie we all love you and Liam and are here for you to help you through.  May God shower you with peace and comfort in these coming days.

Oh dear Meggie! What a beautiful woman inside and out. You left us way too soon.  You will be dearly missed.  

Meggie help teach The Parelli Course I went to in 2016. I learned a lot from her in those 2 weeks. She was a strong woman, and I really liked her point blank attitude. The times she gave me praise I knew I had really earned it. I am so saddened by this loss. In March, she was helping me with the essential oil's to get my body back in balance. I really appreciated her knowledge in those things and it was fun to watch her passion for her farm and essential oil company.

I was the pool director at Williamton.  Saw Meggie each day either at that pool or in the school hallways.   What a remarkable young lady.  Always sweet with a beautiful smile.  Very talented not only in the pool, but everywhere.   I am very sorry for your lose.   Very saddened.

Meggie was a familiar face at the Colorado Parelli campus where I visited over the years. Always that big beautiful friendly smile, a gentle loving spirit you could feel even if you didn't know her well. I am so sorry to hear of her loss to the world. She is remembered by many fellow colleagues like myself, around the world. Much love and condolences to her family in the US, from those of us down in the Southern Hemisphere who were brightened by contact with her. 

We are she and Steve’s friends, students and Virginia family. We are heartbroken at the news of Meggie’s untimely loss. Meggie will be missed in the natural horsemanship family nation wide but, nowhere more than here in northern Virginia. May this incarnation of her being rest forever in a peace that she richly deserves.

Meggie was one of my best friends growing up. So many of my childhood memories of the fun things I did in high school, college and as we got married and had kids. She will be missed. She was so caring, giving, kind. Praying for her family, Steve, and Liam. 

Meggie was a beautiful & kind soul with a smile that lit up a room.   I feel privileged to have met her, taken a horse lesson with & from her.   She will be dearly missed. 💕

My first mentor/instructor into the world of natural horsemanship. Will always remember and laugh about two lessons but one in particular when she looked at me and said”I don’t know what to do!”  when my horse suddenly stopped, laid down and went comatose. She had the ability to bring out the best in everyone and everything around her. Such a privilege to have her in my life. 

The woman taught me how to swim fast and kick ass, I can never thank her enough for that.
