Ollie, a lifelong resident of Placer County, left this world to return home to our Lord on May 18, 2012, at age 54. He was born in Auburn, CA on December 20, 1957, the 6th child of Carmeta and Jack Perry. Ollie resided in Penryn, and was a butcher by trade.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Carmel, and brother, Tom. He is survived by his daughter, Stacey Perry, and his grandchildren, Mario Chavez, and Lannah Sydnor , his parents, Carmeta and Jack Perry, brothers, John (Carol) Perry, Tim (Tina) Perry, & Roc (Sheri) Perry , sisters, Nancey Holland, Cynthia (Jeff) Brostrom, and Therese (Jerry) Willis. He also leaves behind 40 nieces and nephews, and many friends that he considered to be family.

Ollie enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and daughter, working in his garden, and supporting Teen Challenge. A kind and giving person with abundant love for his family and a passion for hunting has transitioned to eternal life and is resting in ever lasting peace.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Auburn on May 30, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church under the direction of Chapel of the Hills. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in Ollie’s name.
