Patricia Stinson, long time resident of Ophir, passed away on October 31, 2016 in Auburn at the age of 78. Patricia was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 28, 1938 to John B. and Norma Gregory Carlile. After marrying Claude Stinson, he and Patricia moved to the Auburn area, settling in Ophir. Patricia was a Camp Fire Girls leader and a 4-H leader teaching girls sewing. She loved traveling, gardening, photo scrapbooking and reading. She is preceded in death by her parents and infant sister, Marilyn. She is survived by 2 sisters, Kaye Carlile Broadhead and Carolyn Carlile Sweat (Evan) of Heber City, Utah, 4 daughters, Claudia of Silver Springs, NV, JoAnn of Cresent City, Ca, Valarie (Ed) of Roseville and Marilyn (Kevin) of Bonsall, CA, 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grant children and 6 nephews.
