Paula Lee Ward born August 30, 1951 in Arizona, passed away on September 8, 2019 in Auburn, CA. Paula leaves her loving Husband James Ward of 32 years of marriage. Paula had the gift of hospitality, always with a smile she served others; she loved to have celebrations for friends and family for every occasion. She was a devoted wife who always sought to make life interesting, she loved adventure and exploring nature, she lived a full life of many happy moments. She was a master gardener and for work she had a career in construction accounting and administration. In her youth at the age of 16 she was an Arizona state champion in pole bending at the state finals and went to the nationals and was a rodeo queen in 1969. Paula spirit lives forever with Jesus and she will be missed by family and friends in both California and Arizona. Paula was a very special lady. There will be a celebration of life service on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Chapel of the Hills 1331 Lincoln Way Auburn, CA.
