Richard “Rich” Joseph Cassinerio, 74, of Rocklin, CA, passed away, Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Sutter Faith Hospital. Richard was born November 13, 1941 in San Francisco, CA to Albert and Isabel Cassinerio. He graduated from St. Ignatius High School and attended San Francisco State College. Richard was a Comptroller at Bethlehem Steel for 22 years and Accounting Manager and Cal Trans for 15 years. Richard was in charge of annual Bethlehem Steel reunions. Richard loved family visits, dinners with friends, cruising, gourmet dinners and fine wines. Richard is survived by his son, Greg, grandkids, Jason and Austin, many cousins and longtime companion Carol Pommier.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, April 20 at Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln St. Burial services will follow at 11 am, Thursday, April 21 at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma, CA.
Donation to The Cancer Society in lieu of flowers appreciated.
