Richard E Kai, born October 2nd, 1937, passed away peacefully on February 2nd, 2020. He is survived by his wife Lillian, son Richard and his wife Christine, daughter Karen and her husband Gerald. He is also survived by his nine grand kids: Cordelia, Gerald, and Casper Schadler; Annamarie, Thomas, Ian, Alexander, Sophie, and Katherine Kai.
A viewing will be held on Friday February 7th, 2020, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a rosary at 6:30 PM at Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA 95667. Funeral services with Mass will be held on February 8th, 2020, 10:00 AM at St Joseph Church, 1162 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA 95603. Grave site services with military honors will follow after the funeral service at New Auburn Cemetery, 1040 Collins Dr #9768, Auburn, CA 95603. A celebration of life will be held back at St Joseph Church, starting at 12:00 PM.
