.
Richard Sisemore was born in Claremore Oklahoma Indian Hospital March 24, 1932 to John Clyde and Millie Lee Sisemore. Richard grew up the youngest of 6 children with Webb, George, Wilma, Guy, and Glynn coming before him. John and Millie moved to Campbell, CA where Richard graduated from Campbell High School and married his high school sweetheart Marie Ratledge on September 2, 1950. At 19 he joined the United States Air Force where he faithfully served 4 years and was honorably discharged. He then began his life long career in the residential and commercial construction industry as a General Contractor, beginning in Campbell, CA. However, when his extended family, including his mother and father moved to the state of Washington, Richard was compelled to pack his family and go with them because family was a very important part of his life. While in Washington he worked long, hard hours but always seemed to find time to be with his children for sports activities, and coaching them in Little League. Within a few years of coming to Othello, he moved his family onto an 84 acre alfalfa farm. Richard loved the country, and he loved horses. He bought himself a mare named Lady, and several Shetland ponies named Brownie, Fury, and Warrior for his sons. He always wanted the best for his family and worked very hard to make that happen. However, difficult times soon hit the construction industry in Othello and Richard once again moved his family back to California and the familiar setting of San Jose. Because of his love for country life, Richard quickly found himself and his family in the Gilroy area. In 1980 he moved his family once again, this time to Auburn where he continued his construction career, building numerous homes in the area and working as a Superintendent on several commercial ventures until his retirement. Richard is survived by his wife Sarah Marie Sisemore, 4 sons: Richard Lee, Robert Glynn, Randall Blake, Royce Guy and his brother Glynn. Richard, passed away peacefully in his sleep of natural causes in his home in Auburn, CA on April 4, 2015. Marie, his wife of 64 years, was by his side as his Lord welcomed him into eternity. He had aged 83 years.
