Rose Marie White

Rose passed on January 14, 2026, at 93 years of age. She had been a resident of Meadow Vista from 1962-2019. From 2019 to present, she had been a resident at Auburn Ravine Terrace in Auburn. Prior to 1962, she resided in Roseville and North Highlands. She grew up in San Luis Obispo area and attended schools in Avila Beach and San Luis Obispo High School.

Rose worked as an Insurance Agent Assistant for Chris Haro, State Farm Insurance, for 21 years. Prior, she worked for Fortune Insurance, Bernice Durham Insurance, Home Insurance Co., and Farmers Insurance Group.

Rose was a volunteer at Auburn Faith Hospital Guild for 14 years. She enjoyed the Emergency Department and Courtesy Escort. She was a member of the Widowed Persons Association of California since 1994. She was acting Treasurer for 3 terms (6 years) and active in many activities: Reno trips, 50/50 Raffle, Bingo, Bunco and Mexican Train.

Rose survived by her children, Dennis White (Nancy), Barbara Shrum and Darlene Riel (Jeff). Five grandchildren: Jeremy and Tom White; Brenda and Scott Shrum; and Trevor Riel. Nine great-grandchildren: Brendon, Cody and Eljah Shrum; Kylee, Avery and Jaxson White; and Angelina and Vincent White.

Rose was predeceased by husband Lawrence LeRoy (Larry) White in 1992.

Rose always enjoyed gathering with friends and family. She was loved and will be missed by many.
