Setsuko Ayala was born April 17, 1933 in Otaru, Hokkaido, Japan entered into rest December 15, 2018 in Auburn, California. Setsuko was married March 17, 1955 to Albert Edward Ayala. Albert passed on December 1, 1998. Setsuko leaves her loving children, Michelle Kiba, Linda Ayala, Lola Montano, Robert Ayala and Tina Tarbell. Her Grandchildren, Christopher Hickey, Anthony Hickey, Kyle Woofter, Ronald Montano, Jessica Sladen, Anthony Bongionnani, Tawni Bongionnani, Michael Bongionnani, Jackie Clark, Naomi Vallejos, Alicia Tarbell and Anthony Tarbell. Great Grandchildren, Cameron Hickey, Mercedes Clark, Kyler Clark, Jessie Martinez. Setsuko worked and lived in the Silicon Valley from the early 70’s until her husband retired from the San Jose Mercury News in 1990. They moved to Magalia, California and Paradise, California. She loved cooking for her family and doting over her grandchildren and great grandchildren, bowling leagues 2 to 3 nights a week, fishing, camping, gardening, Japanese music, Bingo, cards, casino trips and watching baseball mainly SF Giants. Setsuko will be sadly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Chapel of the Hills 1331 Lincoln Way Auburn, CA.
