  I remember when see had gotten her cataracts removed. She had been under anesthesia, making her loopy and sleepy. Me being pretty young and not understanding what that meant, I had kept trying to play with her. I had an obsession with Littlest Pet Shops at the time, and loved playing with them with her. Again me being young, could not understand why she kept repeating herself and why she looked so sleepy. I assumed she was pretty tired, but I was so eager to play. Terry being the sweetheart that she was, agreed even if she couldn’t really play with my toys with me very well. Now that I think back at it, it always makes me giggle and also feel bad. 

  I really do miss her and her precious smile. I miss all of her stories, she would repeat and always have the best time telling. I always found it so admirable when she bragged about how much she loved her family. Even if me and her sometimes fought like cats and dogs, we still always loved each other. I just wish I wasn’t so bratty, so I could’ve really appreciated her and her beautiful personality.  

Terri was a bright light for all who were blessed to share a part of her life. She exemplifies the meaning of unconditional love. Terri loved to share a story, a gift, a touch and her beautiful smile with everyone. Terri is so missed by her friends and loved ones in Florida.  Heaven gained a special angel. We lost a beloved friend. 

Terri came to our church at the invitation of a neighbor. She was shy at first, but soon found a group of loving and friendly people. She soon felt right at home. Over the months she became a regular attender in Bible study and worship on Sunday and in the Senior Adult Bible study on Thursday mornings. She sat right up front as we studied God's word. This was important to her because she had a wonderful faith in Christ as her savior. We at First Baptist of Fair Oaks will miss her. We also know that she is rejoicing in God's presence right now!
