William (Bill or Willie) Mendoza passed away on September 8, 2019 after a long illness. He was 85. Bill worked in the lumber and building materials industries. He was born in Bernalillo, NM. He lived in Foresthill, Auburn and Grass Valley, CA. as well as Payson, AZ, Espanola and Rancho de Taos, NM, El Paso, Tx and Parral, Chihuahua Mexico. Bill is survived by his children Corinne Garcia, Albuquerque, NM; Maury and Sharon Mendoza, Newcastle, CA; Kathy Mendoza, Grass Valley, CA; Jeff and Chrisy Butcher, Las Vegas, NV and Martha Hyers, Auburn, CA, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Annie Mendoza and son, Mike Mendoza. No services are scheduled at this time.
