Anna Myrl Miller, 96, of Rochester Hills, Michigan passed away November 3rd, 2016. She was born Anna Delbrugge in Detroit on November 25th, 1919 to Thomas and Anna (Lalofski) Delbrugge. Ann, as she preferred to be called, graduated from Detroit’s Northwestern High School in 1938. She married Lawrence A. Miller in Detroit on May 6th, 1939. Ann worked as a bookkeeper at Maskill Hardware in Birmingham, Michigan and also did the books for Modern Countertop Co., the family business, in Royal Oak, Michigan. After she and her husband retired to Naubinway, Michigan she operated a dog grooming business.
She was a member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Rochester Hills and was a passionate Detroit Tigers fan.
She is survived by daughter, Joyce Swanson of Oakland, Michigan and sons, Gary of Williamsburg, Michigan and Russell of Rochester Hills. She was predeceased by husband Lawrence in 1996 and son Steven in 1964. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced at a future date.
