Beatrice was born the daughter of Breck and Kathryn (Crawford) Angel on January 1, 1921 in Oakdale, Kentucky. She graduated from High School in Kentucky, class of 1939 and married Wilgus Rose at the Justice of the Peace in Pontiac, Michigan in 1940.
Beatrice worked in manufacturing during WWII to support the war effort. She and Wilgus raised their daughter in Rochester Hills. Beatrice loved gardening flowers and vegtables. She and Wilgus did lots of canning. Beatrice was a hard worker. Her house was always spotless. Beatrice is survived by her grandchildren Denise Jarfas and Candace (Kevin) Boerner; son-in-law Dennis Miller; and great-grandchildren Zackary Jarfas and Jacob Boerner. She is predeceased by her husband Wilgus Rose; parents Breck and Kathryn (Crawford) Angel; and daughter Beatrice “June” Miller.
Beatrice’s family will welcome all to a visitation on Saturday March 27th, 2021 from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at noon at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 3530 Auburn Rd in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
