Charlotte Diane Spain, age 83, of Auburn Hills, Michigan passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025. Charlotte was born on June 22, 1941 in Pontiac, Michigan. She attended Avondale schools before choosing to continue her education at Baker College. During her schooling she took a job as a receptionist at Construction Association of Michigan (CAM).
For most of her life, Charlotte held the position of manager at a Speedway gas station. She also seasonally worked for H&R Block as a Tax Agent. But her true passion in life was her church. As a member of Auburn Hills Presbyterian Church, Charlotte found both companionship and purpose. She lent her voice to the church choir and was the church secretary for many years, following in the footsteps of her mother who had also once held the same position. When at home she enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles; she would laminate her finished puzzles and put them in a frame, swapping them out to match each season of the year.
Charlotte is survived by her daughter Sandy Davis (Rick); her son David Spain; her son Lee Spain (Lynn); and her son Chuck Spain; her sister Helen and her sister Dorothy; 11 Grandchildren; numerous Great-Grandchildren; and her beloved dog Izzy.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her brother Ben; her sister Ida and her sister Carol.
A visitation for Charlotte will be held Sunday, May 11, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 3530 Auburn Rd., Auburn Hills, Michigan 48326. A funeral service will occur the next day, Monday, May 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM, with the family accepting guest beginning at 10 AM.
