D.J. is my cousin on our Moms side. I had not seen him since we were both very small children, but have fond memories of him, his late sister, Pat and his brother, Brian, playing and having alot of fun together when his family lived in Dearborn, and we'd go there to visit them., And when they'd vome to Grandma and Grandpa Longacre's to visit.
I'm fortunate to have found Karen, his youngest sister, on Facebook. It was Karen that shsred the sad news of his passing with me.
My Mother and I wish to send all of the King family our deepest condolences

Dickie King, DJ - A person that I could always call friend. From the time we were boys growing up in Detroit and into adulthood. As we married off and moved our separate ways, lived our lives with the new families we had formed. We still stayed in touch, a little. Usually parties, weddings or funeral, an item in my life where I have some regret. DJ was the most honorable, loving, and caring, man that I ever knew. May his love, care and honor live on through his children, grand children and beyond. I am most certain that he will be greatly missed. I am also certain that this world is a better place because of him. It has been a great honor to have called him my friend. Keith Priebe 01/26/2019
