Dickie "D.J." King

Dickie John King, age 66, of Rochester Hills, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Penny Murphy; his daughters, Linda (Robert) Jentzen, Carol (Dwain) Tisdom, Jennifer Lyons, and Christine (Dale Wright) Smith; his 10 grandchildren; and his 18 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his grandson Dwain “Allen” Tisdom II; his great granddaughter, Remi Olivia Shaffer; his parents; one sister; and an infant brother. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 6-9 PM, and on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 11 AM-2 PM, with the Funeral Service beginning at 2 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 3530 Auburn Rd., Auburn Hills, Michigan. In Dickie’s memory, donations may be made to: The Arthritis Foundation, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, American Cancer Society, or American Heart Association.
