Douglas Alan Hammes

Hammes, Douglas "Doug" Alan, age 60, passed away peacefully Monday, August 21, 2017. Born October 20, 1956 to Douglas E. Hammes and Hazel A. Hammes-Fishell. Doug Married Sandra Koble on October 20, 2008 and resided in Rochester Hills, MI, formerly of Union Lake, MI. He worked for General Motors for many years. Doug enjoyed spending time with his two children and three grandchildren who were the light of his life. Doug had a great sense of humor and kind heart and will forever be missed. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Koble of Rochester Hills, MI; his daughter, Danyelle Soldan (Casey) of White Lake, MI; his son, Douglas J. A. Hammes of Commerce Twp., MI; his grandchildren, Cameron, James and Aubrey; his mother Hazel A. Hammes-Fishell of Commerce Twp., MI; siblings, Michael Hammes (Lila), Kathie Hammes, Carolyn LaPearl-Bornick, Larry Fishell, Patti Page (William), Daniel Fishell (Kelly) and Laurie Fishell-Wallo; Uncle Larry Hammes and many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as dear friend Rachele Hammes. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and father, Douglas E. Hammes. A Celebration of Life memorial will take place Friday, October 20, 2017 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. at the White Lake Twp.
