Edith Marguerite Pettit of Auburn Hills, MI passed away peacefully on March 29, 2021 at the age of 67. She was born in Pontiac, MI on December 20, 1953, the daughter of the late Alfred (Mac) and Arletta (Murdick) MacKenzie. She graduated from Anchor Bay High School in New Baltimore. Edith married her beloved husband Billie D. Pettit on February 14, 1981 and they were together for 40 years. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker, a member of the American Legion Axillary. During her free time she could be found at the casino enjoying a bit of gambling. She also loved reading, playing cards, traveling, and shopping.

She is survived by her husband Billie D. Pettit, her sister Dianne Jung of Grayling MI; children Roxanne (James) Brown, of Grayling, MI, David (Lori) Pettit, of Port Orange, FL, Tamara (Phillip) Jenniches, of Grayling, MI, Tiffany (Damon) Wells, of Columbiaville, MI; 9 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a gathering of family and friends will be scheduled at a later date.
