

Born in Detroit, Michigan, George was the beloved son of the late Nicholas Nota and the late Anna Nota. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for three years before beginning a long and successful career as a mechanical design engineer.
George found joy in attending car shows, following politics and staying informed on current events and the news, collecting a wide variety of treasures, and traveling whenever he had the opportunity. He will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, generous spirit, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
George is survived by his beloved wife, Thanida Wonghakaew; his daughters, Cathleen (Pat Hernandez) Kelly and Karen DeFalco; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alexander, and Shauna; his great-granddaughter, Magnolia; his siblings, Carol Einkorn, Valerie (Jay) Biondo, and Gary (Rene) Nota; and his stepsons, William Silipone and Harry Silipone. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many extended family members and dear friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 3550 Auburn Road, Auburn Hills, Michigan 48326.
