He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on February 22, 1947. Gerald married Pamela Gartee (nee Gromer) on October 2, 1971 and they shared a wonderful 52 years of marriage together.
Gerald was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retiree from General Motors. He had a love for classic cars and was faithful in being of great help to his father-in-law John Gromer.
Along with his loving wife Pamela, Gerald is survived by his children Jeremy (Tiffany) Gartee and Matthew (Jade) Gartee; and grandchildren Kori, Maxx, Hailey, Ellie, and Sophie.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday November 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM at Pixley Funeral Home in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
