Gwendolyn Carol Newnham

Gwendolyn Carol Newnham passed away on Tuesday, August 15th 2023 at the age of 86. Gwen was a devoted mother to Deborah (Newnham) Kelly, Peta (Newnham) Birrell, Marc Newnham, and Fawn (Newnham) Gallagher. She was also a loving grandmother to Paul, Kevin, Michael, Tiffany, Amanda, Travis, Nicole, Jonathan, Cody, David, and Elizabeth. She also has 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 more on the way.

Her life was centered around her family. She has family here in Michigan, and in Florida. She always traveled to Florida for the special events there and attended every holiday and birthday party here. She always remembered all of our birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions. She was the glue that kept our family together and loved us all.

Gwen was a runner in her youth and passed those genes on to some of us. She loved to read and watch her soaps. She also loved animals especially her current dog, Sandy and fed all the birds, cats and whatever animal came on her property. She worked at Kroger's as a clerk for 30 years and was described by her co-workers as a friendly, hard-working lady. Gwen will be missed by so many people but I know Jesus welcomed her into his arms as she crossed the gates of heaven.

A memorial visitation for Gwendolyn will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Pixley Funeral Home, 3530 Auburn Rd., Auburn Hills, Michigan 48307, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM.
