Hazel Beatrice Miles

Hazel Beatrice Miles, of Mount Pleasant, MI, passed away on April 22, 2022 at the Laurels of Mount Pleasant at the age of 100. She was born in Port Huron, MI on September 11, 1921. She was married to Wayne Rose in 1941 until his death and later married Floyd Miles in 1978. Hazel worked at JC Penney's for around 10 years but was primarily a homemaker. She loved to crochet, sew, and do puzzles as well as play euchre, bingo and Wii Bowling.

Hazel was preceded in death by daughters Sharon Rose and Sandra Rose Lucarelli; great- granddaughter Brittany Myers; and husbands Wayne Rose and Floyd Miles. She is survived by daughters Darlene (Dan) Moore and Sheila (Alan) Weber; grandchildren Belinda (Bill) Myers, Dione (Dale) Haney, Lisa Foote, Scott (Diane) Lucarelli, Jeff Lucarelli, and Justin Lucarelli; great grandchildren: Tyler and Tayler Haney, Ashley (Zach) Straus, Billy Joe Myers, Chad (Cloie) Wolfe, Autumn Wolfe, Maddie Foote, and Layla and Eli Lucarelli; great-great grandchildren Luke, Brittany, and Olivia Straus, Easton Gutman, and Josie and Abby Wolfe.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the Laurels of Mount Pleasant, 400 S. Crapo, Mount Pleasant, MI 48858.

Funeral arrangements will be held at Pixley Funeral Home, 3530 Auburn Rd., Auburn Hills, MI 48326.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 with service following.

She will be laid to rest at the White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
