She was born on September 12, 1921, in Newton, Illinois, to William and Ester Goodman. Helen lived a long and full life, devoted to her family, her community, and the simple joys that brought her happiness. She found great pleasure in cooking, sewing, and taking walks, and she shared her warmth and talents generously with those around her. Helen was also a proud and active member of the Masonic Eastern Stars 228 Club, where she formed lasting friendships and contributed to her community.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Barbara Goodman; her cherished grandchildren, Dawn (Scott) Blanchard and William (Sarah) Clark; and many extended family members and friends who will remember her with love and admiration.
Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sylvan Clark, and her son, Bill Clark.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 3530 Auburn Rd, Auburn Hills, MI 48326.
Burial will follow at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
