On October 16, 1954, Helen married the love of her life, Jerome “Jerry” Glinski, at St. Florian Catholic Church in Hamtramck, Michigan. Together, they shared a devoted marriage and raised three children—David, John, and Patricia—in Romeo, Michigan, creating a home filled with love and strong family traditions.
Helen had a joyful spirit. She enjoyed playing Bingo and card games, traveling, and camping. Some of her most cherished memories were made on the many camping trips she and Jerry took with their grandchildren over the years. A very social person, Helen truly enjoyed a good conversation and had a way of making everyone feel welcome and at ease.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Helen Olenchick; her beloved husband, Jerome “Jerry” Glinski; and her son, David Glinski Sr. and daughter in law, Peggy (John) Glinski.
She is survived by her children John Glinski and Patricia (Clark) Kiser; her grandchildren Dawn (Chris) Bringer, David (Melissa) Glinski, Eric Mauk, Josh Glinski, Tiffany (Jacqueline) Glinski, and Christopher Pavlic; and her great-grandchildren Ashley Bringer, Alana Bringer, Austin Bringer, Gavin Glinski, Grayson Glinski, Tyler Mauk, Tori Mauk, Easton Glinski, and Jade MacIntyre as well as many other friends and family.
