Helen Theresa Pilacinski

Helen Theresa Pilacinski (Kowalski), age 93, of Rochester Hills, Michigan, passed away on Saturday July 24, 2021. Helen was born the daughter of Constantine and Francis Kowalski in Hamtramck, Michigan on December 19, 1927. She grew up in Hamtramck, attending St. Florian. Helen married Stanley John Pilacinski on May 4, 1946 at St. Florian in Hamtramck. Helen and Stanley raised their family in Detroit, Helen serving as a homemaker. Throughout her life, family was always so important to Helen. She also enjoyed playing solitaire in later years. Helen is survived by her children Connie Shonebarger, Linda (David) Reiter, and Gary (Sam) Pilacinski; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley, late son-in-law Tom Moss; and her many siblings. A memorial service will be held at Our Lady Of The Lakes Catholic Church, 5481 Dixie Hwy, Waterford Twp, MI 48329, on September 10th, 2021. The funeral mass will beheld at 10 AM and memorial visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until time of service.
