Joseph Michael Dalian, age 84, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025. Joseph was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 19, 1941 and attended high school at St. Anthony Catholic School. After graduating he choose to further his education, receiving an Associates degree from Macomb Community College and a Bachelors from Central Michigan University. For 33 years, Joseph worked as a engineer for Chrysler before taking a well earned retirement in 1999. While working he joined Chrysler's Chess club and Golf club; even after retiring, he was still a proud member of the UAW Local 212. Joseph fully understood the importance of spending time in nature and joined the School Of Outdoor Learning And Recreation aka SOLAR. He was never to old to indulge his inner child and enjoyed trips to Disneyland. He found companionship and relaxation as a member of the Detroit Yacht Club. Joseph was not only a man of great intelligence, but was physically skilled as well as a professional dancer and Myomassologist. He leaves behind so many family members and friends who will miss him dearly, but will always remember the light he brought into their lives.
Joseph is survived by his son Andrew Dalian (Jennifer Hill); his longtime partner Katherine Stone; his brothers Tom Dalian and Jerry Dalian; sister-in-law Sue Pacynski; his Lakeland Terrier Jinx; his many cousins, nieces, and nephews; and his SOLAR Family.
Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Antoinette "Toni"; brother Bill Dalian; and his sister Nancy Dysarczyk.
