Mary Kay (Kay's daughter) is a dear friend of mine. We roomed together briefly at Michigan State...my guinea pig chewed through her stereo cords! I thoroughly enjoyed running into her parents, usually when they visited on Game Day. They both were so welcoming, easy going and engaging.

This news is hitting me hard in that my mother is similar in age, and is also named Kay...and also went to Michigan State.

My deep condolences to all of you. Kisses to your soul.

Nobody could light up my Dads face ,Like my Aunt Kay. All she had to do was walk in the room " His Katie " !!! And my dad's eyes would sparkle ( a strong Bolz trait!) She was the last of her Nuclear family. They loved each other deeply and worked hard to stay close through numerous hardships ( they had grit )... My Aunt Kay and her dedication to her family was a wonderful example to try and copy.. I was a fortunate little girl to spend lots of time with her....I cannot think of anything worth doing she would not try..and be funny too! Her children were fortunate to have her for their mom..

Aunt Kay was the sweetest , loving and most caring person I have ever known. I loved sitting with her at family events and listening to her stories. She loved her family so much. The love she had for her brothers was so special. The world was a better place because of you Aunt Kay. You will truly be missed. Love your niece, Linda Sibole
