Kathryn Louise Huffman

Kathy was born the daughter of Robert Black and Joann Cottrell on June 22, 1962, in Highland Park, Michigan. She attended Berkley High School, class of 1980. Kathy married Lawrence Huffman in November 1969. Kathy was a devoted mother and homemaker.

Kathy had a passion for interior design, crocheting, and writing. She loved being a “Gooma”.

Kathy is survived by her father Robert Black (Stella); children Lawrence Huffman II (Rachel Solwold), Melissa Champagne (Steven), Christine Stanton, and Sarah Wingate (Nick); grandchildren Sydney, Larry III, Hayden, Jacob, Ally, Owen, Chloe, Trevor, Presley, Anna, Joseph, MeKenna, and Lincoln; Sbilings David Black (Sheryl), Mark Black (Yvonne), Colleen Batton (David), Kevin Black, Brenda Webb (Mike), and Bobby Black.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Huffman; and her mother Joann Cottrell.
