Keith was born the son of Morton and Alice (Ballagh) McBurney in Waterford Township, Michigan on August 20th, 1938. He was part of the first class at Rochester High School, graduating in 1957. Keith worked for a time as a truck driver and a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rochester.
Keith loved gardening. He was really good at woodworking, creating amazing wood animals that he painted and gave to children.
Keith is survived by his son Jeffrey McBurney and grandson Dylan McBurney. Keith was predeceased by his parents; and siblings Sheldon McBurney, Earl McBurney, Gerald McBurney, Margaret Mather, and Ron McBurney.
Keith’s family will welcome all to memorial gathering on Friday July 5th, 2024 from 11:00am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 3530 Auburn Road, in downtown Auburn Hills, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Keith’s honor to the charity of your choice.
