Ken was a graduate of Avondale High School, a milestone that marked the beginning of a life shaped by steady effort and an enduring sense of responsibility.
Over the years, Ken built his life through honest, hands-on work as a cook for Avon Bar and Larkos Brothers, and later working as a mover for a moving company. Those closest to Ken will remember the spirited way he “harassed” his nephews. He also took great enjoyment in collecting and working on remote control cars, and he appreciated the craft and pride on display in attending car shows.
Ken is survived by his mother, Dorothy Sanders; siblings Debra Williford, Carl Posey, Gary Posey (Nicole), and Tammy Keane (Sean); nephews Keith Bone, Brian Keane, Brendan Posey, and Tyler Keane; great nephews Taydan Bone and Ashley Bone; and special friend Carri Sutton. He was preceded in death by his father, Ken Posey; stepdad Dennis Sanders; and nephew Stephen Bone.
Ken will be remembered with respect and affection, and his absence will be felt by the family and friends who knew him best

Visitation will be held at Pixley Funeral Home, 3530 Auburn Road, Auburn Hills, MI 48326, US, on September 14, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with the funeral beginning at 1:00 pm.
