Van Hooser, Kenneth R., 80, of Rochester Hills, died February 11, 2017. Born May 8, 1936 in Avon Twp. to the late Marshall Van Hooser and Gladys Bliss. Kenneth was married to Mitsuko (nee Yonekura) for over 60 years; father of David (Trena), Kenneth (Kathleen), Cynthia, Katherine, Deborah and Scott (Ammie); brother of Shirley (Charles), Linda (Gordy), Sherry (Robert) and the late Delores (Earl) and Charlene Moore; grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of 2. Kenneth retired from GM Lake Orion. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local #5960 and was veteran of the US Army. Visitation 3 – 7 pm Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Pixley Funeral Home, 3530 Auburn Rd., in downtown Auburn Hills. Funeral Service at 7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
