Kimberly was born the daughter of Thomas and Karen (Wienke) Flaherty in Warren, Michigan on March 4, 1974. She graduated from Rochester Adams High School, class of 1992. Kimberly earned her bachelor degree from Central Michigan University and master degree from Wayne State University. She had a career as a Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA) and most recently worked at Faurecia in the HR department. She was involved with the Women in Defense (WID) organization and active at St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church.
Kimberly loved her children. She was a dedicated mom who always put her children first. She enjoyed watching her kids play sports and dance and loved taking family vacations. Kimberly is survived by her children Katherine and Stephen Hill; sister Laura (Dan) Murray; nieces Sienna and Chloe; and many loving family members and friends. Kimberly is predeceased by her parents.
Kimberly’s family welcomes everyone to a visitation on Thursday September 16th, 2021 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 3530 Auburn Rd in Auburn Hills and on Friday September 17th from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral mass at 1 p.m. at St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church, located at 2675 John R Road in Rochester Hills. Masks are recommended for visitation and services. Memorial contributions may be made in Kimberly’s honor to New Beginnings Animal Rescue at www.nbarmichigan.org.
