Loving mother of Christopher Brown, Angela (Darrel) Hinman, Wayne (Angie) Brown, and Skip (Dawn) Rice; Beloved grandmother of Jarrette, Alli, and Elliott Hinman, Logan Mattis, Ayden Brown, Abigail Hinman, Landon and Kaden Mattis, Emmalyn Hinman, and Lily and Adeline Brown; sister of Dian Mather and Bruce Lidgard; and caring aunt to many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many extended family and friends. Leann was predeceased by her parents Wayne and Evelyn (Hall) Lidgard; Christopher Rice; Sharon and Bob Long; brother in law Kenneth Mather; ex-spouses Dennis Brown and George Rice.
Leann was born in Pontiac, Michigan on January 17, 1954. She graduated from Avondale High School in 1972. Leann spent most of her working career at Farmer Jack. She started working there after high school and worked until their closing. The last 10 years she spent making many friends while working at Lowes in Rochester Hills.
Leann was a long-time member of Faith Lutheran Church in Troy. She loved baking especially carrying on family traditions like Christmas morning cinnamon rolls. She also loved playing silly Facebook games and spending time with family and friends. Her greatest love though, was her kids and grandkids.
Leann’s family will receive all for a visitation on Sunday December 2, 2018 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 3530 Auburn Rd, in Auburn Hills, Michigan and on Monday December 3rd, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, located at 37635 Dequindre Rd. in Troy, Michigan.
