Marie L. Marheine

Marie was born on March 30, 1936, in Detroit, the daughter of Julie and Phillip Cyr. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Marheine, with whom she shared 49 wonderful years of marriage and raised five children together.

Marie enjoyed a full and happy life centered around family, love, and simple joys. She loved playing cards, reading, watching movies, and especially making Christmas cookies for family and friends during the holidays. Above all, Marie was deeply devoted to her family and cherished every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her loving children, Michelle (Garry) McVay, Marsha (the late Robert) Spina, Nannette (Thomas) Edgil, Randy Marheine, and Brenda Marheine; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Helen Bontomasi. Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Marheine, and her son-in-law, Robert Spina.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home Auburn Hills, 3530 Auburn Rd., Auburn Hills, MI 48326.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marie’s Honor can be made to the American Cancer Society.
