Nancy was born the daughter of Hans and Ursula Seyferth in Kalamazoo, Michigan on September 16, 1948. Nancy graduated from Harper Woods High School, class of 1966. Nancy married Delbert Preast on November 16, 1968 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Detroit. Nancy and Delbert raised their family in Shelby Township and Sterling Heights.
Nancy loved her family. She enjoyed travel, especially to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and to Disney World. Nancy loved to make blankets and give them away to family and friends.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Delbert Preast; son Erik (Kara) Preast; grandchildren Noelle Preast, Zachary Preast, and David McKeever. Nancy is predeceased by her parents.
Private interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
