Norine was a wonderful, thoughtful, non-judgemental person with a great sense of humor. I remember her so fondly as a kindly and generous hostess to a bewildered young German abroad. She will live in my memory always. I hope you, Chris, can remember her as she was.

Memories of Norine - At age 14, she welcomed me into her home, Chris you were a new born and I could not blast my Bad Company or BTO...She made the best Pot Roast, would make the house smell great all day...To this day, when I make chili, I add rice because Norine made it this way...When things were not right, one could expect a gentle hmmmm from Norine...She taught me how to wash my clothes....Norine had a little issue with me jumping off the second story balcony and into the pool....Norine loved to buy from Sam the Fruit Man...She loved fresh popcorn...She was a mother to me...I lost a few bets to her on UofM vs OSU football games...she would just smile...She was a woman of courage, wisdom & humility.  A woman that I am so glad God put into my life.  She is the mother of my brother Chris...Norine will be missed, am so grateful for the memories of Norine...She is in a better place now...home with God...Thank you for all you did for me Norine....Love, John

Christopher, I am so very sorry for your loss. A mother is so very special and yours was even more so.  It has been years since we were together, but I will always remember her quiet elegance.  She was a beautiful woman, almost regal in her demeanor. She was very proud of you and loved you so very much. You are in my prayers as God welcomes your mother into her new home. Chris, I am thinking of you and your family, and saying prayers for all of you.  Your Mom was fascinating!  She made the best salads ever, and I loved seeing all of the puzzles she worked.  She had interesting stories and enjoyed the simple things in life.  We had many interesting conversations, but mostly she was proud of you.
