Thank you so much for your outpouring of love and support for our family! We can't tell you how your support has helped us all cope with an already difficult situation.

Our father had a true heart of gold and loved spending time with those family and friends who loved him!

Please enjoy this weekend with your families with a tasty BBQ, a relaxing bonfire and maybe a lil fishing as those were some of his favorite that, we'll know that you're honoring the man we all know and love dearly <3

To Billie, Clayton, Buddy, Paula and Jeanette, I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad and brother. He left us way too early. May happy memories carry you through this sorrowful time. When your heart is empty, filling it with these happy memories can help you find your smile. It's hard to understand why people are taken from us, but find comfort in knowing you were a special part of such a well-lived life. I knew your dad when I was young and living in Michigan. I moved away but came back to see my grandmother and great aunt the summer between my junior and senior year. I also came back when Billie's son was just a baby. We had a great time and also many laughs. He was a good man! It takes a little darkness for us to see the stars, and a whole lifetime to reach them. My heart goes out to all of you. Memories are the legacy of love! Thoughts and prayers to all of you. Hugs and kisses! Love, Heather

Kat-ma, Billie, Clayton, Buddy and the Sutton Family...I found this and found it very fitting for the Butch I remember

We little knew this morning
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you,
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

I hope you can all find peace in this message, love ya all!
