Robert Dwayne Carnes, 57, of Auburn Hills, MI passed away on Jan. 28, 2023. He was born in Pontiac, MI on February 9, 1965. Robert graduated from Avondale High School. He married his beloved wife Paula (Appenroth) Phillips on September 26, 1987 at the Lake Orion Church Of God in Clarkston, MI. Robert was a proud stay at home dad raising his children. He volunteered with Forgotten Harvest for many years. Robert loved gardening, squirrels, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Paula; his parents Curtis (Martha) Carnes and Brenda Vickery; children Richard Pascucci, Angela (Dan) Stiltner, and Amanda (Jerry Holley) Carnes; grandchildren Emily Ellis and Katelyn Ellis; and siblings Barbara Simmons, Curtis Carnes, Tonia Carnes, and Cheryle Carnes.
A visitation for Robert will be held Friday, February 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 3530 Auburn Rd., Auburn Hills, Michigan 48307, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
