

Rodney was born to William and Madeline Sizemore, in West Virginia, on January 23, 1947. Rodney attended and graduated from Man High School, and shortly after moved to Michigan. After living in Michigan for a few years, Rodney began his career at General Motors, as a pipefitter. Rodney was with the company for 30 years before retiring from the company. Rodney and his cherished wife, Susan, were married in 1981, embarking on a beautiful journey of deep and enduring love for one another.
Rodney loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. If he wasn't with family, you could often find him going on walks around the neighborhood or doing a crossword puzzle. Rodney had a passion for photography, and loved to shoot on his 35mm film camera, Rodney also had an interest in Karate and obtained his brown belt.
Rodney is survived by his children; Beth Sizemore, Traci (Tony) Stefan, and Ken Sizemore, grandchildren; Colin, Brent, Evan, Adriana, and Craig, two great grandchildren, sisters; Terri (Eddie) Workman, Paula (Clyde) Workman, and Pamela (Steve) Marsden, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Rodney is preceded in death by his beloved wife Susan (nee Hill) Sizemore, parents ; Madeline and William Sizemore, and siblings; Eugenia Joy, Bruce, Doyle, Billy, and Ruth.
A visitation for Rodney will be held on Friday February 28, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a service at 7:30 pm, at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 3530 Auburn Road, in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Rodney will be laid to rest at Aaron Webster Cemetery.
