Vickie M. Rock of Pontiac, Michigan passed away on March 11, 2020 at the age of 68. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 26, 1951. She had a passion for movies, fishing, card games, and the Redwings. She is survived by her son David and Gwendolyn Rock; grandchildren Leigha (Bratton) McDuffie, Amanda Bratton, Alexander Rock, and Logan Rock; and Great granddaughter Adalynn McDuffie. Brothers, Richard Rock Sr., Calvin Rock Jr., Charles Bogdon; Sisters Virgina Green, Caline Hunrath, Diane Egon, and Bonnie Fontaine Due to concerns regarding the Corona Virus, Vickie’s funeral service will be taking place at a different date; however, vitiation will still be taking place at Pixley Funeral Home in Auburn Hills starting at 11 AM and ending at 1 PM.

I MET VICKI ROCK IN 2000 I WAS 3MONS PREGNANT WITH MY FIRST CHILD/DAUGHTER N I HAD FELL ASLEEP WATCHING ONE OF MY FAVORITE CARTOON MOVIES THE LION KING ONE ..IN HER FAVORITE CHAIR I WOKE UP WEN SHE PUT A BLANKET ON ME. IT WAS SO WARM FELT LIKE HOME SHE BECAME MY GOD-MOTHER FROM THAT DAY ON ..I HAVEN'T SEEN OR HEARD FROM HER IN AWHILE I LIVE IN KNOXVILLE TENNESSEE SINCE 2010 BUT ILL ALWAYS LOVE HER N I ALWAYS MISSED HER ..I MET HER N BOB THROUGH MY MOM JOANN GILMORE ONE OF HER GOOD FRIENDS THIS REALLY HURTS ME N MY FAMILY IM TRULY SORRY FOR Y'ALL LOSS RIP GOD MOTHER GONE TO SOON I LOVE LOL SHE ALWAYS SAID IM NOT WHITE IM A BLACK GURL
